Bali is the island that keeps pulling people back. Surfers, yogis, digital nomads, backpackers — everyone finds their corner here. Ubud for the spiritual stuff, Canggu for the cafe scene, Uluwatu for the waves, and Seminyak for the sunset cocktails. It's touristy, sure, but for a reason.
Hostels in Bali are next level — pools, coworking spaces, daily events. Canggu and Ubud have the best backpacker scene.
Bali food is a mix of incredible local warungs (small restaurants) and trendy Western cafes. A local meal costs $1-2, a cafe smoothie bowl is $5-8.
Rent a scooter and explore. The temples are stunning, the rice terraces are iconic, and the beaches range from white sand to dramatic cliffs.
Canggu and Seminyak are the party zones. Ubud is more chill — live music and cocktail bars.
